I’ve been staring at her for at least 10 minutes now. . . Surely she’ll be up soon…I don’t want to be late. Wait…oh… I think I saw a twitch… yeah… and another…

“ROSCOE!” Mom yells as she comes flying out of her bed! “You scared me half to death!” Really, Mom? Get outta bed, Mom! It’s Friday and THAT’S the day I go to Camp Holiday Barn! Wake UP, Mom, wake up…. Are you awake yet? Wake up…! I’m making circle-eight’s around her legs as she shuffles down the hall… Can’t she move ANY faster?!? She heads to the door to let me out to potty and I eagerly zoom by her. When she comes to let me back in, I’m sitting by the car door waiting. Angrily she exclaims, “Roscoe, get in here! I’m not ready yet”, she says. Geeeze Mom… I’ve been waiting all night!

After what seems like FOREVER, Mom heads out of the door with her purse and phone (that’s when I know that we’re really going somewhere). By that time I just can’t contain myself and I’m bouncing all over the driveway. We finally get in the car and we’re off! Turn right here, Mom, yeah… then turn left by that red building…pant, pant, pant… and oh, there is that blue house up ahead….good, pant, pant, pant…turn in HERE! TURN IN HERE!! I think I see my best buddies Bailey and Ash getting out of their cars… I CAANNNN’TT WAAAIITT!!!!

YIPPEE!!!! ANOTHER DAY AT CAMP HOLIDAY BARN!
