A well mannered dog brings joy to our lives!
The height of convenience and success all found in one personal dog obedience training class in Richmond, VA. Drop your dog off at Holiday Barn Monday morning and one of our dog trainers will work with your dog daily Monday through Friday each week.
Just like taking a child to school, bring your dog to training class Monday through Friday each week and our trainers will work with them to improve their obedience and overall behavior.
With both the Boarding School and Day School, your trainer will schedule a meeting for the end of each week to teach you how to work with your dog. These private lessons are vital to the success of our program. The homework you receive is fun, engaging and helps build the bond you have with your dog.
Off-Leash Dog Training
Would you and your dog enjoy outdoor activities without a leash? This popular program is available with either the boarding or the day program and is highly effective in teaching reliable off leash dog obedience training.
We offer customized services including: potty and crate training, swimming, grooming training, trained retrieve, therapy dog preparation, bike/run, treadmill, trick dog and more.
Private Dog Training Lessons
You and your dog can meet with one of our dog trainers at Holiday Barn for private dog training to work on specific behaviors. These can be dog training behaviors that have already been covered in training or new goals.
Off-Site Training Lessons
Our dog trainers can come to your house or meet you in a public environment to work on specific dog behavior training. This program gives you the opportunity to achieve your goals in the setting of your choice.
Training classes are a fun & meaningful way to stay motivated! Together we will build on commands your dog learned in our foundation programs and focus on applied obedience, socialization and distraction training.
We host Pack Walks for graduates of our Foundation programs. The Pack Walks take place in a public environment such as a shopping mall, brewery or a park. We work on loose leash walking and behaviors in a distracted environment. Distractions include other dogs, joggers, bikers, children, strollers, etc. This is a great way to exercise your dog, practice your training and meet other dog owners!
