WHAT TO EXPECT AT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Until further notice, our LOBBIES ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. When you arrive at your scheduled time, please call us to let us know you are here. For dogs, to maintain limited contact, we will ask you to take your pet and place him or her in a specially designed pet portal and remove their collars and leashes. For cats, your cat must be in a cat carrier and please make sure to take the collar off. Place the carrier in the pet portal. You will also put their food (packed in a plastic nonporous container) and any medications in the portal. Step out of the portal and make sure the door is latched. Please wait in the designated safe distance area. Our counselor will then take your pet to their room and come back to get their food/meds. Then, you’re all set! Please don’t worry if this sounds complicated. We will be there, 6’ away to guide you through! Here’s a helpful video of how to use the pet portal.
In addition to new arrival and departure processes, please know that we are taking every precaution we can think of to keep you and our employees safe. We will be screening all employees before they begin a shift, we will be wearing PPE, we have written protocols to disinfect and sanitize the facilities regularly, we will be following physical distancing guidelines, etc. Thank you again for your patience and trust in Holiday Barn.
