Our Personal Training Programs are Perfect for the
Dog Lover who Values a Well-mannered Dog.
The height of convenience and success all found in one personal training program. Drop your dog off at Holiday Barn Monday morning and one of our trainers will work with your dog daily Monday through Friday each week.
Just like taking a child to school, bring your dog to school Monday through Friday each week and our trainer will meet your dog training needs. You get the same desired results as the Boarding School while enjoying having your dog home every night.
With both the Boarding School and Day School, your trainer will schedule a meeting for the end of each week to teach you how to work with your dog. These private lessons are vital to the success of our program. The homework you receive is fun, engaging and helps build the bond you have with your dog.

Imagine a nice spring day, you are working in the front yard, the kids are riding their bikes out front and your dog is stuck in the back yard. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could trust her to hang out with you and the family off leash in the front yard? Think about all the times you have been invited to the lake with friends, everyone has their dogs running off leash but you have to keep your dog on the leash because he likes to chase squirrels. Wouldn’t it be nice to let him run free but know if a squirrel does cross your path you don’t have to worry because he will come when he is called? Also, if you enjoy the beach, hiking and other activities where your dog could be off leash, our Off Leash Program can make all that possible. This Program is available with either the boarding or the day program and is highly effective in teaching reliable off leash obedience. For this program we use the Education Collar brand training collars. The collars are designed to work for a wide variety of dogs so we can train the smallest of dogs and the most stubborn of dogs to a reliable off leash lifestyle. Education Collars have a half-mile range, are completely waterproof, rechargeable and work on and off your property. In the Off Leash Program our goal is to unleash your dogs full potential!
Canine Good Citizen Testing
The AKC Canine Good Citizen Program was created by the American Kennel Club to promote responsible dog ownership and to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. Amanda or Schylar can prepare your dog for the CGC and administer the test.
Purrrsuing LearningSM Programs for Graduates
Our trainers can come to your house or meet you in a public environment to work on specific behaviors. These behaviors can be things that have already been covered in training or new behaviors that have started.
You and your dog can meet with Amanda or Schylar at Holiday Barn to work on specific behaviors. These can be behaviors that have already been covered in training or new behaviors that have started.
After graduation from our Personal Training Program, you are invited to join our Pack Walks. The Pack Walks take place in a public environment such as a shopping mall or a park. We work on loose leash walking and behaviors in a distracted environment. Distractions include other dogs, joggers, bikers, children, strollers, etc. This is a great way to exercise your dog, practice your training and meet other dog owners! This is a perfect program if you have already completed one of the Personal Training Programs and would like Amanda or Schylar to work with your dog a few days while they vacation at Holiday Barn or we can schedule a few days in our Day School program. We can work on new behaviors/training or refresh commands your dog may not have mastered yet.
